Become fluent in the language of time in my newly improved and longest running Vedic astrology course. Previously known as “Foundations in Muhūrta”, this 8-month course offers the most comprehensive study of Vedic electional astrology available in English today. Students learn to calculate auspicious timings according to a birth chart for all of life's events including business, finance, marriage, and medical elections. The techniques taught in this text can be applied universally in reading birth charts, choosing a muhūrta, and analyzing a praśna. The course is taught from my English translation of the classical Sanskrit text “Muhūrta Cintāmaṇi” - cover to cover.

Join me in this in-depth study of Vedic horary astrology. This course covers the important teachings from Book 1 of Praśna Mārga, Chapter 1-16. Topics include various methods of casting a praśna, analyzing a praśna, how to use breath in a praśna, defining the praśna arudha, introduction to omenology, predicting illness, predicting death, diagnosing disease, medical astrology, divination, and so much more. This text is one of the crown jewels of Sanskrit literature and perhaps one of the most profound texts ever written on Vedic astrology. This is one of the only opportunities to study this text in English at this level.

Join me in this in-depth study of the inner-workings of the nakṣatras. Learn advanced nakṣatra interpration and transit techniques using the Navatārā Cakra and Nāḍī Nakṣatras (special asterisms). The primary focus is to learn to make predictions from the movement of the planets through the 27 nakṣatras mapped over the individual birth chart. This is the intermediate step of learning to time and predict events in Vedic astrology.

Learn proper pronunciation, reading, and writing the Sanskrit alphabet. Upon completion students will chant, read, and write basic sentences in Devanāgarī (Sanskrit script). Foundational for all students of Yoga, Ayurveda, Tantra, and Vedic Astrology.

Continue with nouns, pronouns, verbs, and sentences. This course is for students who have already learned the alphabet and can read and write basic words and sentences. Students learn grammar and language structure, and begin translating from Sanskrit to English.

Learn Sanskrit pronunciation techniques for mantra recitation and chanting. Students learn three mantras for each of the Pañca Devatā: Gaṇeśa, Viṣṇu, Śiva, Durgā, and Sūrya.
